2021 Belmont Bolt

Participate in Our

2021 Belmont Bolt

in the best way that suits your family!

April 24-May 2, 2021

Although this year’s Belmont Bolt will look different to maintain safety for our Belmont community, we hope that you will find a way to participate! Our 2021 Belmont Bolt will not be a fundraiser and it will not have paint thrown BUT it will still be a fun, safe and unique way to celebrate our Belmont spirit!  Please see the information below for more details on how to participate in this fun event!

Please see the links and information below for more details on how to participate in the 2021 Belmont Bolt.

Time: Anytime during the week of April 24-May 2, 2021 (Saturday-Sunday)

Where: See course maps HERE should you want a 5K or 1 mile option in Olney Mill.   Families can instead choose to do a dash, 1/4-mile, 1/2-mile, 1 mile (or anything!) at the Belmont back field or anywhere you choose! (Please note that the Belmont field cannot be used until after 4pm on the weekdays.)

Why: To have fun with your family and stay connected as a Belmont community!

How:  Simply decide a course & day works for your families’ schedule.  Grab your family members and safe friends if applicable, and walk, jog or even bike.  Wear your *Belmont Bolt T-shirt* to promote school spirit along the way!

Ways to Safely Connect with Fellow Bulldog Friends:

  • Paint a Rock:   We encourage each student to find and paint a small rock with a Belmont message (ie: Belmont Rocks, Stay Safe and Strong, I Love Belmont, etc.)  Rocks can be safely dropped off along your route so that they are visible and bring a smile to your fellow Belmont friends along their route.  If you choose to drop your rocks at Belmont, please place them along the perimeter of the back field or in a safe place so no one should trip over a rock.  Look out for Belmont Staff rocks too!
  • Warm Up Video: Warm up using Mr. Weingard’s warm-up video of stretches.
  • Belmont Bolt Music Mix: Listen to some shared tunes along your route!
  • Belmont Bolt Padlet: Take pictures of your child(ren) as they experience the Belmont Bolt and submit them to our padlet below.  Snap a photo in front of Belmont, or simply one of your painted rock, or one as your child is running/walking along their course.
